Working with architect Daniel Yudchitz, the goal for this project was to create a sculptural bench that could become a framework for nature. This bench defines the land and anchors a person to the landscape. It creates a relationship in which the built environment is a framework for growth. Once the wooden structure was complete, soil was brought in to create a berm around the bench that was planted with wildflowers from the park.
